The sun is bright. Ron and Betty look like a happy couple. This singer has a wonderful voice. I agree. My alarm clock was loud. It woke up everyone in the house. |
| 부사 일, 행동이 '어떻게' 일어나는 지 보충 |
The sun is shinning brightly. Ron and Betty are smiling happily in that photo. Sara is an excellent pianist. She plays wonderfully. Tom snores loudly when he sleeps. It is really hard to share a room with him. |
형용사의 위치
| 명사 앞 | I hope you have a safe flight. Thank you. Simon is looking for a new roommate. Why do not you take a warm bath? It will make you relax. |
| be/ get/ look/ feel 등의 동사 뒤 | That diamond is huge! Is it real? We should get ready. It is already 8:30. I am going bungee jumping this weekend. That sounds scary! |
부사의 위치
| 동사(+ 목적어) 뒤 | I am leaving for Toronto now. OK. If there is a fire, leave the building quickly. Larry takes his job seriously. It is the most important thing to him. |
| 형용사/ 다른 부사 앞 | This soup is really salty. Elizabeth goes jogging fairly regularly. Are you sure this is the right way? Yes. I am absolutely certain. |
look뒤에 형용사와 부사
| look+ adj: ~ 해 보이다 | Greg looks great in his new suit. I helped him pick it out. I think I will get some of these grapes. They look fresh. |
| look + 부사: (~하게) 보다 | I cannot find my wallet. Look carefully. It must be somewhere. In some cultures, it is rude to look directly into other people's eyes. |
