	over		in front of		between
	under		behind		among

 

 

앞 & 뒤 

behind : ~ 뒤에 
in front of : ~ 앞에 => 전치사 + 명사 +전치사 

예문: 
I sit behind Tate in history class. 
The bus stop is in front of my house. 

 

 

옆에 

by = next to : ~옆에

by: 가장자리 예를 들면 호수가 옆에
next to : 나란히 놓여진 옆에 

예문: 

We had a picnic by the lake last weekend. 

Who's the girl next to Jake? 

 

 

사이, 중에 

between: (명확히 구분된 둘 이상의 사람, 사물) 사이에 
among: (명확히 구분되어 있지 않은 셋 이상의 그룹, 집단) 중에 

예문:
The bank is between the mall and the pharmacy.
Joan is the tallest girl among the students in her class.

 

 

위, 아래에

 

over: ~위에 
under: ~ 아래에

예문:
A lamp is hanging over the table.
I found a coin under the sofa. 

 

 

위, 아래로

up: ~위로
down: ~아래로 

예문: 
Jim went up the ladder to fix the roof.
A rock is rolling down the hill.

to: ~으로
from: ~으로부터

예문:
I'm traveling to Europe next week.
