시간 전치사 at 을 사용하는 경우

at: '~에' 시가, 식사 앞에 사용

시각: at 11:30  at noon  at 3 o'clock
식사: at breakfast  at lunch  at dinner 

예문:
Every night, I go to sleep at 11:30 p.m.
The library opens at noon on Sunday.
I had a good time at dinner last night. 

 

 

시간 전치사 on 을 사용하는 경우 

on: '~에' 요일, 날짜 앞에 사용

요일: on Wednesday  on Friday night
평일, 주말: on weekdays   on the weekend 
날짜 기념일: on May 21  on the birthday  on our anniversary 

예문:
I have an interview on Wednesday.
We work late on weekdays, so we sleep in on weekends. 
My wedding is on May 21. Can you come? 
I usually get a call from my parents on my birthday.

in: '~에' 월, 계절, 세기, 연도, 오전, 오후, 저녁 앞에 사용

at  < on < in 

월, 계절: in January / July / December 
세기, 연도:  in (the) 19th century  in 2018 
오전, 오후, 저녁: in the morning / afternoon / evening 

예외: at night  at noon 

예문: 
It often snows here in January.
Cars were invented in the 19th century.
I always go to the park for a walk early in the morning.
The tennis court has lights, so we can play at night.
