다양한 수동태 표현들 

외워두면 편한 수동태 표현 

be married  기혼이다                                                          be born 태어나다
be done/ finished 끝내다, 미치다                                        be lost  길을 잃다

예문: 
Is Charlie single? No. He is married.
I was born in Toronto. Really? Me too!
Are you finished with your homework? Yes. I am done.
Where are we? I am not sure. I think we are lost.

 

 

get + 과거분사  수동태 

get + pp라는 수동태

get married 결혼하다                           get invited 초대받다                            get dressed 옷을 입다
get caught 잡히다                                get paid 봉금을 받다                           get promoted 승진하다
get hired 채용되다                                get fired 해고되다                               get hit 맞다, 치이다
get hurt 다치다                                     get burned 화상을 입다                       get broken 깨지다, 망가지다

예문: 
My wife and I got married in 2012.
We usually go out for a beer when we got paid.
Tony got hit by the baseball during practice yesterday.
Do you want to see a movie? Sounds great. I will get dressed.

 

get + pp의 부정문과 의문문 

부정문:   do/ does/ did not + get
의문문:   do/ does/ did + S + get + pp~?

예문: 
These wine glasses do not get broken easily.
I did not get promoted.
Did you get invited to Amnda's birthday party?
How did Maria get burned?

 

 

4형식의 수동태 

4 형식 : S V O(~에게) 간접 목적어 O(~을/를) 직접목적어

They gave Justin a skateboard.
> Justin was given a skateboard.
> A skateboard was given to Justin.

Ex): I gave her a flower.
> She was given a flower.
> A flower was given to her.

영어 문장의 다섯 가지 형식 

1 형식	S  V
2 형식	S  V  C 주어를 보충해주는 보어
3 형식	S  V  O 동사를 꾸며주는 목적어
4 형식	S  V  O(~에게)  O(~을/를) 수여동사
5 형식	S  V  O  OC(목적보어)

 

4형식 동사의 수동태 수여동사

예문: 
1. Ms. Williams offered the guests tea.
> The guests were offered tea by Ms. Williams.
> Tea was offered to the guests by Ms. Willams.

2. Readers send the editor letters every day.
> The editor is sent letters by readers every day.
> Letters are sent to the editor by readers every day.

사람 + be + pp + 사물	I was aked some questions by the police officer. The children are shown a video once a week. Jane will be paid $50 for babysitting.
사물 + be + pp + to + 사람	Headphones were lent to passengers during the flight. Art history was taught to all students at our school. Mr. Ross was given earrings on Valentine's Day. We were told the news about Gary's accident today.

 

정리 

• 수동태는 get + pp 형태도 가능
• 3 형식의 수동태는 be pp 뒤에 O 목적어가 없다.
• 4 형식의 수동태는 be pp 뒤에 사물 O직접목적어가 있다.
• 4 형식의 수동태에서 be pp 뒤에 사람 O간접목적아가 나올 경우  to가 필요하다.
