too의 정리 

 too + adj/ adv:  (필요 이상으로) 너무 ~한/ 하게 

예문:
The water is too cold! I do not want to go in.
Do not take Jimmy's words too seriously. He was just joking.
How much do you earn? Or is that question too personal?

 

 

very(매우)  VS  too(너무 → 지나쳐서 문제가 되는)

예문:
The exam questions were very difficult, but I answered all of them.
The exam questions were too difficult. I was not able to answer all of them.

 

 

too many/ much + n.: 너무 많은~

예문:
There are too many people on the bus. Let's wait for the next one.
I need a vacation. I have been under too much stress lately.

 

 

too를 강조하는 way/ far + too

예문:
I cannot wear this dress. It is way too tight.
This school is strict. There are far too many rules.

 

 

 

enough의 정리 

adj/ adv + enough : 충분히 ~한/ ~하게 

예문:
Do you need more ice in your drink? No, thanks. It is cold enough.
I cannot usually understand Mr. Johns. He does not speak clearly enough.

 

enough: adj 충분한	I did not get enough sleep last night, so I took a nap. Does your bike have enough air in the tires? No. I think I need to add some.
enough: 단독으로 사용 가능	I do not want any more pizza. I have had enough.

 

too/ enough + for 사람/물 혹은 to + R	I cannot accept this money. It is too much for me. You are never too old to learn. There is enough space for 120 cars in this parking lot. I am not strong enough to carry this box. Could you help me?
for + sb/sth + to + R	Is it too late for me to buy tickets for he show? No. Tickets are still available. Do not worry. There is enough gas for us to get to a gas station.

so + adj/ adv : 매우 ~한/ ~하게 

예문:
Your dog is so cure! What is her name?
Brian is very smart. He solves these math problems so easily.
This mall is always so crowded on weekends. Yes. There are too many people!

so + adj 뒤에 명사 x  VS  so much(many) 명사 o 

예문:

so + adj/ adv + that + S + V : 매우 ~해서... 하다

such + (a/ an) adj + n + that + S + V : 매우 ~해서... 하다

예문:
